English!
Keep working away at all your fabulous free writing, can't wait to get to read all of the brilliant stories! Don't forget also to work on your Spellbound. Try to do a chapter a week of it and maybe give yourself a spelling test on Friday like we do in school! You could get someone at home to ask you the spellings or have a quick look at the spelling, cover it and try to rewrite it. There is space at the back of your book to practice your spellings and to test yourself. Keep working at the sheets I sent home as well!

Book Reviews
Use the copy that I gave you last week and the books that we borrowed from the library to write book reviews using the template that I gave you. If you have lost the template, I've attached a copy of it here :) When you have finished the review, you might like to design a different cover for your book or maybe draw a small comic summarising what happened in the story!
Comprehensions
I've attached a link to some comprehensions that you can answer in your copy from Twinkl. (You can set up a free account with Twinkl. Ask someone at home to help you set one up all you need is an email address!)

Story Prompts
Stuck and don't know what to write a story about. Use some of these prompts to help you!
English Games
Here are some games that we played in class that you might like to play at home!
Vocabulary Tennis: Pick a topic (e.g. animals). One person says a word relating to animals and then the other person says a different word. Keep going until someone repeats a word or can't think what to say.
Stop The Bus: Line you page into 5 columns and label them; boys name, girls name, place, food and animal. Pick a letter and then come up with a word starting with that letter for each category. First person to have a word in each sections says "Stop The Bus!". Compare your answers with the other people playing with you. If no one has the same answer as you, give yourself 10 point, if someone has the same answer as you each of you get 5 points and if you didn't get an answer you get 0 points.
Fortunately/Unfortunately: Start a story with the word fortunately. The next person starts their sentence with unfortunately. Keep continuing the story. Maybe you could write down what you come up with.
